W.A. Cromarty and Co Pty Ltd is a leading supplier of industrial process control solutions to manufacturing industries and utilities, and operates offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Hobart and Launceston.
Due to recent significant growth, we are currently seeking two additional Control Systems Engineer/Programmers to undertake system design and software development on existing and upcoming industrial projects, as part of our automation team.
Applicants should possess tertiary qualifications in electrical/electronic, mechatronics or computer engineering.
Ideally applicants should have 3-5 years experience with PLC/SCADA, DCS or Telemetry systems, but new graduates will also be considered.
Experience with some of the following systems would be well regarded:-
Citect Siemens S5 / S7 Serck Controls
Allen Bradley OSI-Soft PI CMI
Wonderware Schneider Electric
Strong interpersonal skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft products are essential.

A full-time permanent position as a Claims Manager has become available and we are seeking candidates with claims experience or skills in the commercial insurance sector.
This full-time autonomous role is located in Launceston and has the responsibility to manage all
commercial and domestic claims.
Duties include:
- Ensuring all claims are documented correctly and meet all audit and professional requirements
- Attend to client queries, process documentation within strict time frames and ensure claims are satisfactorily settled
- Maintaining a good client relationship by offering a premium claims handling service
To be successful we require you to possess:
