The Royal Flying Doctor Service under contract to Ambulance Tasmania is a not-for-profit organisation that provides the finest care to the furthest corners of Tasmania through Air Ambulance patient transfers and rural and remote medical services.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service in Tasmania comprises of a dedicated team with roles ranging from health, aviation, marketing and administration.
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Administration Assistant to work at the Base at Launceston Airport. Ideally, you will be an excellent communicator with an outstanding phone manner and a genuine interest in the service provided by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
This role is based around two half days per week but you will be required to be flexible to assist with additional duties supporting out of hours events.
You will need to be highly organised and a self directed person thriving on this multi-faceted role.
The position requires you have a thorough understanding of all administration functions. Experience with MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Power Point and database management are essential to the role. As you will be dealing with the public and working in a team environment a high level of interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to relate to a diverse range of people is essential.
